It is the fifth largest island in the country. Koh Phangan is known for its beaches and nightlife. It often combines the two and attracts a lot of visitors to the beach parties on white sand with scenic views. Koh Phangan has become world famous for one of Southeast Asia’s largest beach parties, the Full Moon Party, taking place on one of the most developed beaches on the islands – Haad Rin. A thick jungle covers the inland of Koh Phangan. This is a great place to explore, see the numerous waterfalls, amazing viewpoints, etc.
