Sunday, June 05, 2016 Uncategorised by Kyle Jenkins

Koh Lanta is an island group located in Krabi Province. The bigger island is called Koh Lanta Yai, and the smaller one is Koh Lanta Noi. Koh Lanta Yai is well stunning with its white sand beaches, mangroves, limestone islands, caves and waterfalls. Lanta islands are very well known for its backpacker’s community and eco-bungalows located right on the beach. Koh Lanta is one of a few islands in Thailand that is home to the native tribes leaving on the Isle – the semi-nomadic sea gipsies also known as the people of Chao Leh. On Koh Lanta, you may choose to go crab and seafood fishing in the jungle of the Mu Ko Lanta National Park, go diving or join Lanta Animal Welfare as a volunteer and help hundreds of homeless cats and dogs.
