Thursday, October 20, 2016 Sightseeing and Landmarks by admin
In the first post about Lemnos Island, I wrote about the three major archaeological sites that stand out on the eastern side of the island – Poliochni, Hephaistia, and the Kabeiroi Sanctuary. However, there is more to Lemnos than just those three sites. You can find numerous representations of the Greek authentic lifestyle and architecture on the island, which withstand successfully mass tourism effects unlike the surrounding islands of Thassos and Samothraki.

It has panoramic ocean views, rugged coastlines, countless beaches, a rich Scottish and Irish culture, dozens of hiking trails, and fresh seafood. Though Cape Breton is a less-visited destination, there is no shortage of stunning places to visit.

The case of a bad weather condition makes the rangers close the path to the summit, but you can still wander around and get an amazing view of the Volcan de Fuego, the neighbour active volcano.
